2000 Donzi 80 Sportfish

Exterior:

The side decks are surprisingly large for a sport fishing yacht. The anchor windlass was found securely installed on the centerline with a deck hatch on the centerline aft of the windlass for access to the chain locker. There is a large sun pad on the centerline aft of the anchor windlass. The dinghy davit is installed to port with the dinghy chalks installed on the centerline.

Fly-bridge:

The fly-bridge was found clean and neat with good seating. The helm was found on the centerline aft with all engine controls, gauges and electronics all easy to hand. This open fly bridge is unique with the helm area fully enclosed with side doors to port and starboard and is fully air-conditioned. There are wrap around windows with a windshield forward equipped with a windshield wiper and washer.

All the way forward is wrap around seating with a large table in front and good storage below. The center of this seating opens up to good storage and the two “Brownies” dive compressors. This area is well protected by the hard top and three quarter enclosure. Visibility is adequate from this station.

Tower:

The tower is accessed by climbing the aft port and/or starboard tower legs, has a full helm station with all engine controls and electronics all easy to hand. This area is protected by the buggy top and has excellent visibility.

Cockpit:

The cockpit is a good size and comes with a transom gate and deck hatches for access to the steering gear and a ladder up to the fly bridge. Also in this area is built in seating forward to starboard.

Interior:

The interior comes with the standard layout that includes a good size salon that comes with good seating and storage. The large sofa is aft to starboard with the TV installed on a powered lift opposite to port. The entertainment equipment is installed in a locker forward of the sofa.

The galley is forward to port and was found clean and neat with all equipment in good working condition. This area is open to the salon with four bar stools on the aft side of the galley counter. The dinette is opposite to starboard with wrap around seating and a table in front.

The cabins were all found clean and neat with each head also found in good condition. Forward on the centerline is the master stateroom with a queen size bed on the centerline, good storage in lockers and drawers with the head and separate stall shower aft to port. The port stateroom is the VIP stateroom and comes with a queen size bed on the centerline with good storage and the head and separate stall shower forward. The starboard stateroom comes with twin upper and lower single berths with good storage, the head and stall shower are forward.

The crew cabin is aft on the centerline and comes with three berths, good storage and the extra refrigeration is installed in this area. The washer dryer are installed forward. There is a water tight door aft to access the engine room.

Machinery Space:

This area is accessed from the cockpit through powered door forward on the centerline and has full standing headroom with good access to all of the machinery to carry out all service work.
