SYC Yachts puts a large emphasis on marketing your vessel to get it in the right locations for buyers to see it, which enables us to sell your boat quickly. Upon receiving each listing, your listing broker schedules professional photography to be done on the interior and exterior of your vessel and drone footage is taken of your boat in motion, if possible. The broker will ensure each detail within the boats systems are accurate, obtain engine hours, recent services or haul-outs, maintenance info, and all history of the boat. We believe that precise collaboration with not only the photographers, but the captains, crew, detailers, mechanics, etc is instrumental to getting your listing online in a timely manner for all to view and gets it SOLD quicker. We advertise nationally, locally and, of course, online in many different applications. We are also always monitoring ad deadlines to get your listing in the right publications prior to any major boat shows, too.
Some of the national magazines we advertise our yacht listings in include Power & Motoryacht Magazine and Marlin Magazine. SYC advertises seasonally in Southwest Florida’s Gulfshore Life Magazine, the Florida Mariner and Coastal Breeze in the classified listings section with full page to full spread, glossy offerings in each publication. Along with entering your listing to be show-cased in Yacht World, Yatco and Boat Trader with muti-faceted syndication, we also have our own SYC Yachts social media pages on Instagram, FaceBook, LinkedIn and our SYC Yachts YouTube Channel. Please feel free to share any vessel footage with Kelly or Steve to get it online.
Communicating with the top leading professional yacht salesman in the industry on a daily basis is key to the sale of your vessel too. Just by informing others in the industry of your new listing is a huge deal, so that when they have a buyer looking for what we have to offer, they already know about it and will call us immediately. We also shoot out SYC Yachts E-Blasts via e-mail to over 2500 qualified contacts in our database and also push these out through the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce. We do quarterly update articles in the International Yacht Broker’s Association publication called Compass Magazine and lastly in our local Marine Industries Association of Collier County Newsletter.
Another major avenue that has proven successful over the years to sell boats is taking them to the local boat shows and placing them on display for the public to board. We arrange and coordinate the captain and the crew for you or Steve Sprigg, owner of SYC Yachts, delivers the boat safely in place for you. We have our SYC Yachts team on board at all times protecting and monitoring traffic on and off board and will even stay onboard if you prefer. By exhibiting your boat in a show, this often brings buyers who didn’t even know they wanted to buy a boat because they fall in love walking through or it allows the boat to be geographically closer to another pool of buyers who may not have made the trip to single your boat out.
There is a lot of time, coordination and effort that happens with each listing and our methods have proven themselves time and time again over the years. Selling boats is what we know. Educating buyers and sellers is what we do to help you maintain your boat’s value, so that you get the best value back. SYC helps you to buy vessels “right” and serves to protect your best interests along each step from listing to selling…or from sea trial and survey…We are here for you!
